Here at Melt Productions we are passionate about helping reduce the stigma surrounding mental health... Life can be tough for all of us sometimes, but for some it can feel like a daily struggle. By all of us gaining more knowledge and reducing the stigma, we believe there is a chance for real change. There are a huge amount of ways we can learn to help those who might be struggling... One of those ways is that we can learn to look out for certain signs, behaviours and symptoms, as well as gaining knowledge on how best to provide support and advice for those in need. Stress Matters HQ offer an excellent Mental Health First Aid England accredited Mental Health First Aid course, that we highly recommend and are delighted to have just completed. But not only this, we want to raise awareness about how much GOOD can come from a positive MH working environment... Working in the Events Industry is tough. We work long hours, in stressful environments, for long periods of time, and on top of this, we’ve often had very little sleep! Looking after our minds, is just as important as looking after our physical bodies and this will help ensure a happy, healthy, safe and inclusive environment for all.
